Arsenik bukan organik iaitu dalam bentuk yang lebih toksik, boleh membawa kepada kebimbangan kesihatan apabila dimakan dalam jangka masa panjang dan menyebabkan kanser paru-paru dan pundi kencing. Ia juga boleh memberi kesan yang ketara kepada perkembangan otak. Pengambilan arsenik dalam dos yang besar boleh membawa kepada gejala seperti cirit-birit, muntah, darah dalam air kencing, sakit perut, kekejangan otot dan episod fitting. Namun begitu, amalan memasak ini juga boleh mengeluarkan zat besi, folat, tiamin dan niasin daripada beras.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"o9v6fnle cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql ii04i59q\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Syukurlah, kajian baru-baru ini menunjukkan bahawa kaedah memasak secara merebus dengan kaedah penyerapan (PBA) boleh mengurangkan kandungan arsenik yang paling banyak daripada beras sambil mengekalkan khasiatnya.
